The Four-Year-Old Program
Children attend class from September through May in one of the following options; two or three full days a week, three half days or five half days. The selection of class is determined by the child's maturity and the eventual progression into kindergarten. The class is limited to ten children so teachers are able to work individually with the students and determine if they are ready for a five full day kindergarten option. Teachers observe the social and readiness skills and provide instruction in literacy, arts and sciences.
